ENJOY THIS WEEKLONG DEEP DIVE INTO FABRIC ARTS! EXPLORE NATURAL DYEING TECHNIQUES WITH INDIGO, MARIGOLD AND MORE! EXPERIMENT WITH COLOR, PATTERN, AND DESIGN IN VARIOUS WAYS WITH BOTANICALS AND YOUR OWN HANDMADE BLOCKS FOR PRINTING. MAKE PATCHES FOR FUTURE PROJECTS, BANDANAS, TEA TOWELS, BANNERS, WALL HANGINGS AND MORE! . WE WILL ALSO EXPLORE PAINTING ON FABRIC, SLOW STITCHING/EMBROIDERY, FABRIC COLLAGE, AND OTHER WONDERFUL EMBELLISHMENTS!

COME EXPLORE THE WORLD OF PRINTMAKING IN VARIOUS FORMS, FROM THE RUDIMENTARY TO THE SOPHISTICATED IN THIS WILDLY FUN, CREATIVE AND INFORMATIVE DEEP DIVE COURSE! WE WILL BE WORKING WITH MULTIPLE FORMS OF ADDITIVE AND REDUCTIVE MONOTYPES, COLLAGRAPH, CHINE-COLLÉ, RELIEF PRINTING AND MORE! COME AND LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD WITH LAYERING PERSONAL IMAGES, COLOR, PATTERN, TEXTURE AND COMPOSITION! THIS CLASS WILL CULMINATE IN WORKING WITH COLLAGE AND MIXED MEDIA USING OUR HANDMADE PRINTS!

MY studio is in the works on the land!! A dream coming true! A place for gathering in creative circles, teaching, co-facilitating, and sharing all that I love in the worlds of printmaking, mixed media, bookmaking, collage, papier mache, maskmaking, basketmaking, painting, drawing, being in the garden/nature and so much more! Right near my garden too! Planning to have to have her ready to go by late spring or early summer! So stay connected by subscribing to my email list!
